Finally, an Update.

Life is chaotic. I don't know if it really is, or if that is just what it seems like when I'm sleep deprived. Actually I do know that that is the case since last Saturday night Fredrik slept from 11:00-4:30 and I thought I was a new woman. LAst night he was up SIX TIMES. He loves to sleep in our bed with all three of us in it, apparently. I prefer it as well.
Here is a list of what's been happening at our places:
The Farm: we barely missed a frost last night, according to the internet and my parents, we've been harvesting a lot of tomatoes, this weekend we have a big work day (anyone is welcome to participate!!!!!!!!-it's Saturday, all day, and we're hoping to harvest the rest of the potatoes, carrots, winter squash, and trim and bag all the onions curing in the hay loft, fun fun fun!), and the CSA continues as well as day-to-day cleaning, cooking, baby rearing. I wish I could add packing to the list but I can't.

New Place in "the cities": Cleaning, cooking(nothing great, it's hard without all of our kitchen gadgetry) and baby rearing, a quest for some new hip yet affordable clothing, stroller rides to Mississippi Market, frequent IKEA runs, and avoidance of neighbors since I'm not used to seeing people all the time and I don't know how to act. I've had some awkward experiences thus far.
Fredrik is probably feeling like our life is in a whirlwind.
The weirdest part with Peter being gone is that I am in charge of Fredrik all the day and night. Right now I asked him to be in charge of him for a couple hours, even though I am about 10 feet away. He's giving FGH a bath, the first time he has done it without my assistance. It took him about 15 minutes to get everything "prepped" and ready to go. Funny.

Now some pics:

Hang in there. You can do it! Parenting can be sooooo hard sometimes. You don't realize it until you are a parent and have several days of lost sleep and no time whatsoever to catch up on it.

I'm sure your life seems super crazy right now. Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel yet? We'll have to get together sometime after you settle in completely at your new home.
Katy, you've been tagged.

Have you joined the Mothering.com discussion yet? It's WONDERFUL! When I am at my wit's end, I go there and always get encouragement and creative ideas. Of course, real human contact is best, but it's a great way to get many minds together to solve each others problems! Okay, I'm going to just email you now instead of going on and on here!
